MinFor invites public to comment on Project Design

Kennemer Foods International and Kennemer Eco Solutions lead in the development of a long-term rural sustainable program with forest dependent communities with climate change mitigation strategies. Its “MINDANAO FORESTS FOR PEOPLE AND SUSTAINABLE LIVELIHOODS” or MinFor is a project for Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation (REDD+).
MinFor is a large-scale, long-term rural sustainability development initiative focused on forest protection and biodiversity conservation in upland, midland, and wetland settings of organized indigenous communities and non-indigenous villages in Mindanao. It reaches a substantial number of organized communities in areas with ancestral domains and areas owned collectively and individually by rural families and communities with its REDD+ activities.
